Blotter: Tavern on the Hill Reports Stolen Meat

Theft from auto ... A woman reported Aug. 9, 10 a.m., that while she was parked on the 400 block of West Springfield Avenue, someone broke the rear window of her car, and a cell phone was taken, police said.

Theft ... A woman reported Aug. 8, 12:30 p.m., that she saw a young man take a package from outside a home on the unit block of West Willow Grove Avenue and fled toward Germantown Avenue, police said.

Theft from auto ... A truck driver reported Aug. 6, 6 p.m, that someone broke into his big rig while he was parked on the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue and food and cigarettes were missing, police said.

Theft ... The manager of , 8636 Germantown Ave., reported Aug. 6, 9:40 p.m., that someone took a box containing $200 worth of stolen meats from the freezer, police said.
