BREAKING: Accident Causing Major Delays On Schuylkill Expressway

Drivers on the Schuylkill Expressway are experiencing major delays due to a truck accident Thursday afternoon, reports say.

A two truck-accident happened around 3:30 p.m. and has caused the closure of the eastbound lanes of the Expressway between University City and 26th Street, NBC10 reported.

Drivers should expect an hour delay from the crash site to the Blue Route, 6ABC said at 5 p.m.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

Two people have been injured, but the extent of their injuries in not yet known, 6ABC said.
