Burglaries: Construction Site Broken Into

A list of burglaries that occurred last week in Chestnut Hill.

The past week in Chestnut Hill saw three burglaries. Two were residential, and one burglary took place on a construction site:

  • Crefeld Street: A resident of the 8900 block of Crefeld Street reported Aug. 31, 10:20 a.m., that she returned home with her family after a few days out of town to find the front door unlocked, bedrooms ransacked and $260 in cash and jewelry was missing, police said.
  • Seminole Street: A resident of the 8400 block of Seminole Street reported Aug. 27, 9:30 a.m., that the house had a broken back door window, and a digital camera and three televisions- with a combined value of $5,400- were missing, police said.
  • Winston Road: An employee of Tony DePaul and Sons Contracting reported Aug. 27, 7 a.m., that a lock was broken on an entrance to the construction site at 7600 Winston Road, and $1,200 in construction equipment was missing, police said.
