Burglars Cut Hole In Philadelphia Store Roof, Steal From ATM
Two men cut a hole in the roof of a Germantown-area business Thursday then stole more than $11,000 from an ATM inside the store.
PHILADELPHIA – Two burglars stole more than $11,500 from a Germantown-area business recently after cutting a hole in its roof to get inside, police said.
According to police, two men got inside the Wister Mini-market located at 6040 Wister Ave. at 2:10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8.
The men cut a hole through the store's rood then forced open an ATM.

Police said they took about $11,320 from the ATM then stole several cartons of cigarettes and $200 from the cash register.
After getting the money, the men fled the area in an unknown direction, police said.

The offenders fled the area in an unknown direction and manner.
Police described one suspect as man with a thin build who wear wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jean-style pants, sneakers, and work gloves. The other suspect was described as a man with a medium build who was taller. He also wore a hooded jacket, jean-style pants, white sneakers and work gloves.
