Alderfer Auction presents a two-part Estate Sale in Glenside, PA.
Part 1 features gold and sterling silver jewelry, Stickley furniture, fine and decorative art, Native American and international pottery, sterling tableware, art glass, collectible books, rugs, electronics, furniture, dolls, and household décor. The catalog combines traditional furnishings and decorative arts with particularly extensive collections of illustrated and antiquarian books.

Jewelry includes 10k and 14k gold rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and pins, along with a substantial selection of sterling silver jewelry. Gemstones and materials represented include sapphire, garnet, lapis lazuli, amber, blue topaz, turquoise, coral, pearls, and additional stones. Sterling offerings extend into household silver, including Wendt Ribbon pattern teaspoons, Old Lace butter knives, vanity pieces, a gravy boat, candlesticks, and salt and pepper shakers.
Furniture includes a Stickley Handcraft Craftsman reclining Morris chair with matching Stickley Mission style footstool, a Jessica Charles Furniture Parish swivel chair, TRS Furniture kidney-shaped sofa, and a Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams side table. Additional furnishings range from Mission, Chippendale, Queen Anne, and Asian-inspired pieces to blanket chests, cabinets, tables, chairs, mirrors, and a carved antique dowry box.
Pottery and decorative arts include Mela Youngblood and Anita Suazo Santa Clara Pueblo blackware, Jose Sosa Chulucanas pottery, Cesar Bugarini Mexican polychrome pottery, Shipibo Indian Peruvian pottery, New Mexico pottery, Andrea by Sadek porcelain, Global Views décor, Lenox, a Steuben glass beaver, Nachtmann crystal, Vera Wang crystal, Mikasa Gold Tiara bone china, Fire-King, Royal Worcester, Corning, and CorningWare.
Fine and decorative art includes a signed Benton Spruance lithograph, “Eyes for the Night,” a signed and numbered Glen Rabena “Hummingbirds” silkscreen, Suzuki Kiitsu botanical reproductions published by The Metropolitan Museum of Art in cooperation with The British Museum, and works by Nancy Carol Willis and George Sturm.
Books are a major component, including Easton Press leather-bound editions, a 1908 first edition of L. Frank Baum’s Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz, and collections devoted to N.C. Wyeth, Arthur Rackham, Howard Pyle, Kate Greenaway, Walter Crane, Jessie Willcox Smith, Maurice Sendak, Beatrix Potter, and A.A. Milne.
Electronics include a Bang & Olufsen Beogram 1602 turntable with MMC 20CL cartridge, Rotel CD player, Bose headphones, Sony Bravia television, and Amazon Fire TV Stick. The sale also contains Oriental-style rugs, Japanese dolls, German and French bisque dolls, stained glass lighting, kitchenware, and additional estate contents.
