Carpenter's Woods Meadow Trail Creation Volunteer Day, Saturday, December 6

Carpenter's Woods Wayne Ave and Sedgwick St, Philadelphia 19119 Saturday, December 6 9 AM to 3 PM

Join David Bower, of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, and Friends of Carpenter’s Woods this Saturday to build the new lower trail connections around the meadow. You can help with us create a better trail and a larger, enhanced meadow.

  • Tools, gloves, and instruction provided.
  • Dress for the weather. Wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy shoes.
  • Bring a bottle of water.

Join us for an hour, a few hours, or the entire day. There is something for every skill level! Suitable for volunteers over the age of 16.

Meet at the Meadow Bench or look for the Volunteers at Work signs near the meadow at the bottom of the Wayne Ave Trail.
