Celebrate an Early Thanksgiving with Rep. Parker

State Rep. Cherelle L. Parker is hosting a pre-Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Upper Room Missionary Baptist Church, 7236 Ogontz Ave.

"Our annual dinner is open to all residents in the Greater Philadelphia area who are interested in joining our feast," Parker said. "This event will give seniors and families in need an opportunity to mingle with others who may not have a family or have means to celebrate Thanksgiving dinner."

The pre-holiday spread will include a variety of nutritious dishes. Attendees are not required to RSVP; all are welcome.
