Chestnut Hill Home Broken Into, Police Say

Nearly $20,000 in items are reported missing from the house.

Nearly $20,000 in jewelry was reported stolen from a Chestnut Hill home, according to a release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

A resident on the 8000 block of Seminole Avenue told police that he left his house at 2 p.m. on Dec 16 and, upon returning at 5:30, he noticed that several items had been taken from his home.

Police on the scene reported that a side bedroom window had been forced open and is the estimated point of entry. The scene was processed y police and an investigation is ongoing.

According to reports, nearly $20,00 in gold bracelets, earrings, diamonds, and watches were taken from the house.
