Clef Club Student Jazz Ensemble featured at UU Jazz Vespers last Sunday -- Photos

Jazz Vespers at Restoration are held the third Sunday of each month at 4:30 pm. Next month's feature will be the Ken Ulansey Ensemble.

The Unitarian Universalist church on Stenton Avenue in Northwest Philly featuring jazz by the Philadelphia Clef Club Student Jazz Ensemble last Sunday.

The ensemble performed the seasonally apropos jazz classic “Autumn Leaves” and other standards.

These emerging high school jazz musicians are so serious, talented and technically-advanced, they are on track to become the Benny Golson, Joey DeFrancesco, Stanley Clark, or John Coltrane of the future.

Jazz Vespers are held the third Sunday of each month at 4:30 pm. Next month’s feature, on November 15th, will be the Ken Ulansey Ensemble.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration on 6900 Stenton Ave is located at Gorgas Lane in East Mt. Airy (19150).

The donation is a sliding scale of $10 to $15 and refreshments are served.
