Crook Attempts Bredenbeck's Burglary: Police
The attempted break in happened in the early morning hours of Friday, May 19 at one of Pennsylvania's best bakeries.
CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA – A crook attempted a burglary on one of Chestnut Hill's most beloved businesses recently but did not manage to get inside, according to media reports and police.
Philadelphia Police said a burglar alarm was tripped at Bredenbeck's Bakery on Germantown Avenue in the early morning hours of Friday, May 19.
Chestnut Hill Local reports a man was caught on security cameras in the area trying to break into the bakery that was recently said to have the best cake in Pennsylvania.

The outlet reports the suspect was seen on camera fumbling at the back door with some kind of tool.

When he couldn't get inside, the fled the area, according to the outlet.
He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a red t-shirt underneath, shorts, sneaker, according to the outlet.
