Daylight Savings (that trick of time) is going away this weekend. It will darker earlier and many people don't like that. I am rendering a photo of a beautiful sunset I took off the Ocean City Bridge a little over a year ago. I caught a fish that day, named him Harold and threw him back. For this, I am reminded of something written by Ezra Pound:
"Whatever comes
One hour was sunlit. . .
And the most high gods may not make boast of any better thing
Than to have watched that hour as it passed."

I will not mourn the early darkness, but revel in the sunlight as we have it. For surely the present moment is the only one we can be sure of.
