Donald Trump Leads By 10 Points In Pa., New Poll Says

Hillary Clinton has a "sizable" lead among Democrats, with 46 percent of Pennsylvania Democrats' support.

Donald Trump leads his Republican opponents in Pennsylvania by 10 points, according to a new Franklin & Marshall College poll released Thursday.

Hillary Clinton has a “sizable” lead among Democrats, with 46 percent of those in her party polled throwing their support behind her, the poll summary said. Bernie Sanders came in with 29 percent among Democrats.

Trump received 24 percent in the poll, with the next closest GOP opponent, Ted Cruz, garnering 14 percent support.

New Jersey governor Chris Christie had the support of just five percent of the Pennsylvania Republicans residents polled.

The poll included interviews of 732 residents. Interviews were conducted between Jan. 18 - Jan. 23.

Of the more than 700 residents polled, 361 were Democrats, 276 were Republicans, and 95 were Independents.Click here to read the poll summary.

The margin of error for the survey is +/- 3.6 percentage points.

The first caucuses will be held in Iowa on Feb. 1. The New Hampshire primary is Feb. 9.

Pennsylvania’s primary is April 26.
