Economic Growth the Main Topic at the 2013 IEDC Annual Conference

As the global economy continues to sluggishly improve, economic developers will meet in Philadelphia to discuss the issues of the day and work to cultivate a positive job environment at the 2013 International Economic Development Council Annual Conference.

At the IDEC Conference from October 6th to October 9th, the topic of obstacles facing economic developers will be a main point of discussion. Panels and keynote sessions will be conducted by top executives and members of domestic and international governments. Sessions will cover topics from fostering special economic zones to community investment. The goal of the conference is to provide businesses with all the tools they need to make not just their businesses successful, but help to make their communities successful.

Mr. Langley will lead a panel discussion with speakers from multiple federal agencies that will share available resources to help develop and implement a strategy for business and community success.
