It's Philly Beer Week - time learn more about beer. Join author and gourmet Lynn Hoffman at Malt House Ltd as we explore the world of Trappist Ale. There are currently only 7 breweries officially recognized as true “Trappists”, but the work of these Cistercian monks has inspired an army of brewers over the years. We will learn about the history of these Belgian masters as well as examine the future as envisioned by American craft brewers. All participants will receive a copy of Mr. Hoffman’s brew loving handbook: The Short Course in Beer.
