Medium Rare Cinema presents: King of the Hill

        NOT AVAILABLE ON DVD

From the director of "Traffic," "Ocean's
Eleven," "Out of Sight," "Sex, Lies, and
Videotape," "Contagion," and "Haywire,"
comes Steven Soderbergh's "King of the Hill,"
based on the classic memoir by A.E.
Hotchner.

Aaron (Jesse Bradford) is a precocious 12
year-old living in depression-era St. Louis.
His family is falling apart: his mother is
heading to an asylum, his father is a traveling
salesman, and he's not equppied to take care
of his younger brother. This surprisingly
dark drama (and one of my ten favorite films)
has an ecclectic cast, featuring Adrien Brody,
Katherine Heigl, Spalding Gray, Karen Allen,
Lauryn Hill, and Elizabeth McGovern.
