Talking Stick’s mission is to support learning, believing that learning is an innate process that needs to be nurtured and respected. By providing a safe, respectful and enriched environment, young people have the opportunity to experience and interact with the world and other people in it, making connections between experiences, and building on those connections to develop deeper understanding. Some of the learning opportunities offered, include learning centers, arts-crafts, gymnasium play, multi-age collaboration, and outdoor exploration. All activities are hands-on and fun. Staff facilitators are there to provide one-to-one and group support and learning activities. Staffs to child ratios are 1 to 7.
