Trail Ambassador Winter Talks At Cedars

January 29, 2012: 2:00 PM a 45 minute presentation by Trail Ambassador Sarah West on the 17th-18th century mills and homesteads in the Wissahickon Gorge.

February 18, 2012: 2:00 PM. a 45 minute presentation by Trail Ambassador Sarah West on current stewardship challenges in the Wissahickon watershed both inside and outside city limits.

February 26: 2:00 PM: a 45 minute presentation by Trail Ambassador Bruce Wagner. "The Valley through the year”. A photo tour through Wissahickon Valley showing seasonal features, and some places dramatically changed from one season to another."

March 11. 2012: 2:00 PM. a 45 minute presentation by Trail Ambassador Sarah West the historical geology of the Wissahickon gorge and ( if the weather is suitable) a short, easy geology walk along Forbidden Drive between Northwestern Avenue and Bells’ Mill Rd.
