Germantown Bank Robbed Dec 29, Suspect Sought: Police
The FBI/PPD Violent Crimes Task Force said a reward is offered for information leading to the suspect's arrest. Do you recognize him?
PHILADELPHIA – The FBI/Philadelphia Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force is reporting a Germantown bank was robbed on Dec. 29 and authorities are seeking the suspect. A reward is being offering for information leading to his arrest.
According to authorities, the Citizens Bank branch located at 5500 Germantown Ave. was robbed at about 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 29.
The suspect, pictured above, came into the bank, approached the counter, and showed a demand note to a teller, authorities said.

Once he got an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank on foot, authorities said.
He's described as a black man in his late 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build.

Authorities said he was wearing a bright yellow winter jacket, a navy hooded sweatshirt over an orange hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
He is considered armed and dangerous, authorities aid. If he is spotted the public should call 911.
