Germantown Republican Club celebrates its 125th Lincoln Day Dinner

Hours before an impending blizzard, the hale and hearty members of the Germantown Republican Club, met February 12, to celebrate the life and memory of Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican President.  It was our 125th Lincoln Day Dinner.

Meeting at the historic Union League, we honored City Republican Chair John Taylor with the Lincoln Day Award, City Commissioner Al Schmidt with the President’s Cup, City Republican Executive Director Joseph DeFelice with the Frank Galioto Community Service Award, and Carmella Fitzpatrick (the First Lady of Republican City Committee) with the William J. McGlaughlin III Memorial Award.

The Germantown Republican Club is a social club centered in Northwest Philadelphia.  Organized in 1888, it does not endorse or give money to candidates.  For more information contact germantownrepublicanclub@gmail.com
