Germantown Shooting Suspect Turns Self In Monday: Police

A 49-year-old turned himself in to police in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred Monday morning on Germantown Avenue.

PHILADELPHIA – The suspected gunman who shot and killed a 46-year-old man in his vehicle Monday morning on Germantown Avenue has turned himself in, Philadelphia Police announced.

Darnell Snell, 49, opened fire on the victim, identified as 46-year-old Erik Everhart, at about 8:05 a.m. on the 4400 block of Germantown Avenue, while Everhart was in his vehicle.

Everhart died at 8:22 a.m. at Einstein Medical Center.
