Haywood Supports Drilling License Ban on State Land

State Senator Art Haywood joined other state legislators to support Gov. Wolf's executive order

On Thursday, January 29th, Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order restoring the ban on drilling licenses on state land.  Newly-elected State Senator Art Haywood, representing Pennsylvania’s 4th district, joined Gov. Wolf at Benjamin Rush State Park in support of the order.  Said Haywood,  “Each generation has the responsibility to protect our state’s natural resources for the next. Benjamin Rush State Park honors the legacy of a leader of the American Enlightenment who led reforms that have impacted Pennsylvanians for over 200 years. I  proud to stand with Governor Wolf, who built on Benjamin Rush’s example of forward-focused leadership by restoring the moratorium on drilling licenses on state land today.”
