Home Invader Stabs, Robs Victim In Olney Apartment: Philly Police
Police said the suspect may have stab wounds on his hands as the victim tried to take a knife from him during the Nov. 21 incident.
PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was stabbed during a home invasion robbery in Philadelphia's Olney section last week and police are on the hunt for the suspect.
The crime occurred at about 11:04 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 on the 6000 block of North 5th Street in Olney.
A man went inside the victim's apartment and pulled out a knife, demanding money from the victim, who is a 45-year-old man, police said.

The victim struggled with the robber to wrest the knife from him and suffered stab wounds to his hands, police said.
After the struggle, the suspect took $600 and fled in an unknown direction, according to police.

Police describe the suspect as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s who may have stab wounds on his hands.
He has a medium-dark complexion, thin build, and a goatee, according to police.
He was wearing a dark jacket with white stripes around the waist and wrist area. Police said he was initially wearing royal blue sweatpants then changed to gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt under a jacket, and white sneakers.
Police said he is considered armed and dangerous.
