Here are pictures from the annual trail run through the park.
Saturday's cool weather was optimal for the sixth annual Wissahickon Trail Classic, which benefitedthe Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers.
A variety of other groups were instrumental in putting on the event. The Wissahickon Wanderers, a running club, hosted the event, and there were also a variety of sponsors.
Participants convened on Forbidden Drive at Northwestern Avenue to run a challenging 10-kilometer race through the park's trails. There was also a five-kilometer walk.
