Internationally Acclaimed Pianist Matthew Bengston to Headline 2014 Steinway Master Artist Series Concert

Internationally acclaimed Steinway artist Matthew Bengston will deliver a guest performance as part of the College’s Steinway Master Artist series on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the East Parlor, St. Joseph Hall.

Bengston is a concert pianist, fortepianist, and harpsichordist, who had taught and performed extensively in the United States and internationally. Critically acclaimed as a “musician’s pianist,” Bengtson has a unique combination of musical talents ranging from extraordinary pianist, to composer, analyst, and scholar of performance practice, and thus is in demand as both soloist and collaborator.
