'Lumpy' Sean Hannity Doesn't Like Nickname, Put Fists Up At Wawa, Witnesses Say
Sean Hannity reportedly told a Bernie Sanders supporter he would "pulverize" him after a joke about Fox News.
It's not uncommon to witness some late-night heckling at a Wawa sandwich counter. But you don't always see a well-known news pundit in the middle of it.
According to multiple sources, one such confrontation happened this week at a Center City Wawa and involved Fox News' Sean Hannity.
Earlier in the week, reports surfaced that the conservative host was booed out of a Wawa on Walnut Street at the beginning of the Democratic National Convention. Now, witnesses to the convenience store confrontation have come forward with some additional details as to what exactly could have prompted a hungry Democrat to give the conservative commentator a piece of his mind.

It all went down at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Pennsylvania Bernie Sanders delegate Jonathan Paul Fox told LancasterOnline. Fox's story was verified by witnesses to the confrontation, LancasterOnline reported.
Fox told the publication he saw Hannity inside the Wawa, walked up to him and "gently" put his hand on the host's shoulder. Fox told Hannity: “My name’s Fox. I’d like my good name back from your channel.”

It was apparently a joke. But Hannity didn't find it funny.
The Sanders delegate said Hannity, who had his bodyguards with him, turned to him and said he would "pulverize" him if he didn't get his hands off of him, according to Fox's account of the incident.
The tension further progressed when the Lancaster County Democrat, borrowing a term from Jon Stewart, called Hannity "lumpy" as he left the convenience store, which reportedly prompted Hannity "to put up his fists," according to LancasterOnline.
Fox News hasn't commented on the incident, but Hannity himself did discuss it in subsequent on-air coverage during the convention. "There's a big story that emerged about me going to Wawa at 1:30 in the morning and, like, I got kicked out, and it's not true," he said to fellow Fox hosts.
He also took to Twitter to clarify, saying the customer, presumably Fox, was "having a really rough night" but "shut up very fast" after meeting him and his bodyguards.
LIE. One customer who seemed to be having a really rough night met me and my bodyguards, he shut up very fast. Lol https://t.co/U3w39t0geV
