THE NAKED LUNCH started with 2 guys (Joe Cozza, and Joe Meiers) who met online through Bandmix a musician meet and match forum. Over the years other members joined in and discovered a mutual admiration for the mid 70s pop group Steely Dan.THE NAKED LUNCH is Joe Meiers, Joe Cozza (guitars), Jim Hilbert (vocals), Jay Brenda-Smith (keyboards), John Morgan (drums), Jon Roberts (bass), and the new Reg Anderson (sax).

Steely Dan is the musical collaboration of Walter Becker and Donald Fagen who met in Bard College in New England in the late 60s. After reading a novel published in 1959 called THE NAKED LUNCH written by William Burroughs.
