Monnette Sudler playing in NW Philly

Monnette Sudler and her "Ladies Night Out" quartet to play on Saturday, April 18th, at 7 pm at Unitarian Church on Stenton Ave in NW Philly

On April 18, a Saturday, at 7 pm, the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration (UUCR) will be hosting a concert featuring the internationally renowned Monnette Sudler, on guitar and vocals, and her quartet called “Ladies Night Out.” UUCR is located at 6900 Stenton Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19150.


The concert is part of Philadelphia’s Official Jazz Appreciation Month in April.


“Ladies Night Out” includes Lynn Riley on saxophone and flute, Noriko Kamo or Organ and Luciana Padmore on drums. The cost for the concert is $20.00. Also, on the weekend of April 18th, Unitarian Universalist author and historian Mark Morrison - Reed comes to UUCR on Stenton Avenue and Unitarian Society of Germantown on Lincoln Drive in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. Reed will be speaking on African American inclusion and history in the UU tradition.
