Mount Airy Pain Center Robbed At Gun Point: Philadelphia Police

The two suspects are a white male and a Hispanic male.

The Mount Airy Pain Center on Chew Avenue was robbed at gunpoint last week, according to Philadelphia Police.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 1:42 p.m. when two men entered the 6613 Chew Ave. business.

One suspect was armed with a handgun and demanded money while the other suspect acted as a lookout for the crime, police said.

The armed suspect jumped over the counter while pointing the handgun at an employee and began going through the drawers, police said.

The suspect took $60 in cash and a $200 money order, then both suspects fled and were last seen north on Montana Street, possibly entering a waiting white Toyota Sienna Mini-van, police said.

Luckily, no shots were fired and no injuries were reported during this incident, according to police.

Police offered the following suspect descriptions:

  • A white male, 30 years old, thin build, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with a logo on the front and a baseball cap underneath.
  • A Hispanic male, 18 to 22 years old, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 4 inches tall, thin build, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark sneakers, black and white bandana covering his face, and was armed with a handgun.

The public should not approach the suspects and should call 911 immediately if they are spotted.
