MT AIRY, PHILADELPHIA –We recently told you that Mt. Airy's popular Supper Session on the Avenue are returning to the neighborhood next month. Now, we're telling you that musicians are wanted to entertain the crowds who gather on Germantown Avenue.
Supper Sessions' organizers are looking for talented musicians, dancers, jugglers, poets, and the like to entertain the Tuesday evening mini street festivals throughout September.
"Local talent will be a prominent feature of Supper Sessions and we are searching for a diverse range of performers to showcase on our Community Stage," according to a performer application. " Both acoustic and amplified musical acts are invited to participate, as well as other acts (dancers, jugglers, spoken word, magicians, etc.)."
