Parks On Tap Is In Pastorius Park This Weekend

Pastorius Park is hosting the popular roving beer garden this weekend. See times, the menu, and more here.

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA – The popular roving beer garden program Parks on Tap is heading to Pastorius Park in Chestnut Hill, offering up beers, cocktails, food, and more in the park all weekend.

The park will begin hosting the garden at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 25.

Pastorius Park's beer garden hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.

  • Wednesday, July 25: Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the Friends of Pastorius Park. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go to support the Friends of Pastorius Park.
  • Wednesday, July 25: CHCA will be hosting a free concert this night as well! Grab a bite and a drink before the concert starts.
  • Thursday, July 26: Join Roots2Rise from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for free yoga in the park! Donations are encouraged and those who donate will receive a free drink ticket to use at Parks on Tap that day.

Pastorius Park is located at 200 W. Hartwell Lane in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood.

  • Aug. to Aug. 5 – Mt. Pleasant
  • Aug. 8 to Aug. 12 – Dickinson Square
  • Aug. 15 to Aug. 19 – Lemon Hill
  • Aug. 22 to Aug. 26 – Penn Treaty Park
  • Aug. 29 to Sept. 3 (open on Labor Day) – Clark Park
  • Sept. 5 to Sept. 9 – Pleasant Hill
  • Sept. 12 to Sept. 16 – Waterworks
  • Sept. 19 to Sept. 23 – Pretzel Park
  • Sept. 26 to Sept. 30 – Strawberry Mansion Bridge

Parks on Tap is an initiative with the city that kicked off in 2016, aiming to engage the Philadelphia community and give back to the neighborhood parks. It is a partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, Fairmount Park Conservancy and Avram Hornik of FCM Hospitality.
