Philly Pizza Shop Robbed At Gunpoint Sept 11: Police
One man came into the pizza shop armed with a gun while the other acted as a lookout during the robbery on Sept. 11, police said.
PHILADELPHIA – A North Philadelphia pizza shop was robbed at gunpoint the evening of Sept. 11, according to Philadelphia Police.
Police said a man armed with a handgun and a bandanna covering his face came into Papa Joe’s pizza at 7204 Ogontz Ave. at about 11:44 p.m. as the shop was closing.
The armed man demanded money from the cash registers and took about $500 from the register, police said.

While this was happening, another man was standing outside the shop as a lookout, according to police.
The armed man fled the store and both ran away from the scene heading toward Walnut Lane, police said.

The armed man was described as a black man about 20 years old with a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white horizontal stripe on the front with "ELITE" written on the sleeves, a blue and white bandanna over his face, black sneakers, and a lanyard hanging from his back pocket, police said.
The lookout was described a black man about 20 years old. Police said he may have had facial hair and was wearing a reddish hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and two-tone blue sneakers.
