Police: Shell Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint Saturday
According to police, the incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. on July 16.

The Chestnut Hill Shell gas station, 8024 Germantown Avenue, was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night, according to police.
An employee of the gas station reported July 16, 9:54 p.m., that he was working as a cashier in the station when a man came in and pointed a black handgun at him. Police said the robber was described as a black male, 6’2”, weighing about 180 pounds, wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. The man was further described as having a medium complexion and dreadlocks.
Police said the man escaped with $1,500 in cash from the register. He got into a green Chevy Corsica, while another man was driving. No description of the driver has been released.
