Robber Snatches iPhone From Woman's Hands: Police
The 19-year-old victim was trying to put her phone away when the suspect ran up, grabbed the phone, and took off, police said.
PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a phone thief who snatched an iPhone from a woman's hands in late April.
Police said the incident occurred at 6 p.m. on April 27 on the 1800 block of Chelten Avenue at the K bus stop.
The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was using her iPhone 6S, police said.

Whens he was trying to put the phone away, a black male ran up behind her and grabbed her phone and ran away, police said.
The suspect was last seen in a rear alley behind 6349 N. 18th St., police said.

The suspect is described as a black male between 14 and 19 years old with a medium brown complexion who was wearing a maroon t-shirt, dark pans, and a dark baseball cap, police said.
Police said the public should not approach the suspect and should call 911 immediately if he is spotted.
