Shots Fired During Germantown Armed Robbery: Philadelphia Police
Luckily, no one was hurt when an armed man robbed a gas station employee then fired the gun several times, Philadelphia Police said.
PHILADELPHIA — An armed man robbed a gas station customer then fire the gun several times during a March 11 incident at a Germantown gas station, Philadelphia Police said.
Police said the robbery occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Monday, March 11 at the Sunoco located at 100 West Queen Lane.
The victim was getting gas when an armed man got out of a Pontiac sedan then approached him, police said.

The man pointed the gun at the victim and demanded the victim empty his pockets, police said.
After getting the victim's wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fire a round before fleeing in the same Pontiac sedan, police said.

The victim called 911 and chased the suspects to the area of 27th and Somerset streets where additional shots were fired at the victim's vehicle.
Police said the victim then stopped chasing the vehicle.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Police described the suspect as a black man standing 5 feet 5 inches tall with braids or dreadlocks. He had a medium complexion and a medium build. Police said he was wearing a black ski mask partially covering face, black hooded jacket, and armed with a black handgun.
The vehicle is described as a gray 2004 Pontiac sedan. The license plate number is unknown.
