Summer Theater at The Stagecrafters

Looking for something to do this summer? Come on over to the Stagecrafters Theater for some diverse and edgy theatrical fare presented as part of the annual Reader’s Theater... staged readings of full-length plays.

Venus In Fur , by acclaimed American playwright David Ives, has alternately been described as a taut psychological play and an erotic comedy which explores the sexual power dynamics between a play director and an actress. Nominated for a Tony Award as Best Play.

On stage July 17, 18 @ 8pm, July 19 @ 2 pm.

Living Space , by local author Dave Ebersole, relates from a new perspective the relationship between a gay man, Oliver, and a straight man, Luke, whom he encounters unexpectedly.

On stage July 31, Aug, 1 @ 8pm, Aug 2 @ 2pm.
