Trump Fires Back At Nutter, Calls Him 'Low Life'

Nutter had called Trump an a--hole.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter blasted Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Tuesday, calling him an a--hole and comparing him to Hitler.

Nutter’s comments, which were caught on tape, were in response to a question about Trump’s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States.

“He’s an a--hole,” Nutter said, quickly apologizing for the profanity. He continued: “How can I take seriously any foreign policy idea from someone like him. I mean, it’s impossible. He has no idea what he’s talking about.”

Trump quickly fired back via Twitter: @Mayor_Nutter of Philadelphia, who is doing a terrible job, should be ashamed for using such a disgusting word in referring to me. Low life!

Nutter also said Trump has “taken a page from the playbook of Hitler” by seeking to demonize a religious group.

“This is in fact a very dangerous form of American radicalization,” Nutter said.

Trump drew controversy after he issued a statement Monday saying the United States should bar all Muslims from entering the country until the nation can “figure out what is going on.”

Trump issued the following statement:

“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in jihad and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”

He has taken much heat for the statement, but continues to defend it as of Wednesday.
