Two Burglaries Over the Weekend in Chestnut Hill
Burglaries occurred on Nippon Street, Rex Avenue and Highland Avenue.

Two homes were burglarized in Chestnut Hill over the weekend of July 21-22, according to police reports:
- Rex Avenue: A resident of the unit block of Rex Avenue reported July 21, 9:30 p.m., that someone entered his home through the kitchen window and $1,800 in jewlery and silver was missing, police said.
- West Highland Avenue: The manager of an apartment building on the 200 block of West Highland Avenue reported July 21, that one of the doors had been reported open for several days and police say they observed that it had been pried open. According to police, the tenant was on vacation so it is unknown of anything was taken.
