Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration Seeks RE Coordinator

The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration (UUCR) has an opening for a religious exploration leader to work with the Sunday morning Children and Youth Programs. This is a part-time paid position for ten hours per week for 12 months.

The coordinator is supervised by the minister and the staff person works with UUCR’s Religious Exploration Committee (which supports and gives feedback to the coordinator).

The successful candidate will be a Unitarian Universalist (but not a member of the UUCR since board regulations prohibit members from being employees of the church) with an understanding of and appreciation for multicultural congregations and will be committed to creating an antiracist and anti-oppressive congregation. The person selected for the religious exploration coordinator position will be required to complete the standard background checks for working with children.
