Wendy Simon featured at Restoration's Jazz Vespers

Wendy Simon will be featured tomorrow afternoon, Sunday Jazz Vespers, February 14 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration

Wendy Simon along with pianist Aaron Graves and Steve Beskrone on bass will be featured tomorrow afternoon, Sunday Jazz Vespers, February 14th, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration on Stenton Avenue (at Gorgas) at 4:30 pm.

Wendy’s group, “52nd Street,” earned international recognition for their swinging, be-bop, scatsinging style. She establishes a strong connection with the audience and has been called, “an imaginative tune picker” because of her diverse mix of material including swinging be-bop songs, Brazilian bossas/sambas, and her own jazzy-spin on pop and standards.
The Unitarian Universalist Church of the Restoration on 6900 Stenton Ave is located at Gorgas Lane in East Mt. Airy (19150).

The donation is $10 and refreshments are served.
