Wind-Thrown Sign Kills Man In Philadelphia: Police

A man was killed by a wind-thrown sign Monday afternoon in Philadelphia, according to police.

Police said the incident occurred about 12:56 p.m. on the 4300 block of Old York Road at a car lot.

The man was struck by a sign at the car lot after it was blown off the wall, police said.

The 60-year-old man was pronounced dead on scene at 1:04 p.m., police said.
