The man was pronounced dead on scene, police said.

A man was killed by a wind-thrown sign Monday afternoon in Philadelphia, according to police.
Police said the incident occurred about 12:56 p.m. on the 4300 block of Old York Road at a car lot.
The man was struck by a sign at the car lot after it was blown off the wall, police said.
