Woman Admits To Shooting Boyfriend While He Drove In Mt Airy
Martina Wescott pleaded guilty to murder Monday after she shot and killed her boyfriend Terrell Bruce while was driving in December 2016.

MT AIRY, PHILADELPHIA – A woman accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend while he was driving in Mt. Airy in December 2016 pleaded guilty to all charges filed against her in a Philadelphia court Monday.
Martina Wescott, 28, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, firearms crimes, and possession of an instrument of crime at her trial on June 18, according to court documents.
Her sentencing is set for Aug. 17, court records show. She faces up to 57 years in prison.

Wescott shot and killed Terrell Bruce, 33, while he was driving in the area of 500 W. Walnut Lane near Parkline Drive in West Mount Airy on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Police were called to the area for a report of a vehicle crash and found a 2003 Ford Expedition and a 2012 Subaru were involved in an accident, police said

The driver of the Ford Expedition, later identified as Bruce, was unresponsive, according to police.
Police discovered Bruce suffered from a gunshot wound to his head and was pronounced dead at 12:35 p.m., police said.
On Dec. 28, Wescott turned herself in to police.
Wescott and Bruce had been dating and she shot him after an argument about their break up.
