What does the nominee do for work?:
Jessica serves as the Senior Operations Administrative Assistant at Glade Run Lutheran Services. As an essential service, Glade Run continues to provide quality mental health services during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a key member of our team, Jessica helps to ensure that individuals and families in need of mental health services can access them during this critical time. In her role, Jessica manage psychiatric evaluation requests, and supports psychiatrists with receiving new and ongoing client issues. She also goes above and beyond to support the operations of her outpatient clinic, and provides support to other locations as well.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Jessica has gone out of her way to offer to switch her work schedule to be accommodating to psychiatrists during the COVID-19 Crisis. She quickly learned the functionality of the telehealth platform and spent dedicated hours with the psychiatrist to streamline the process and make sure clients were able to gain access to clinical guidance and medications during a time of heightened stress. She was able to help support one psychiatrist who was struggling with the technology and was able to give her the structure needed so that she could keep seeing her clients. Because of her efforts, individuals and families in need of mental health services during this critical time have been able to access them.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Jessica has always been willing to step in and help when needed, and is very dedicated to Glade Run. We are lucky to have her.
