Cranberry's Burke Road Facing Weekday Closures
Burke will be closed to through traffic at Peters Road

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - If you frequently travel on Burke Road, prepare for several weeks of weekday inconvenience. From Aug. 10 through Aug. 25, a quarter-mile segment of the road will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to enable public works employees to install new stormwater pipes and remove several large trees.
Burke will be closed to through traffic at Peters Road, meaning only local traffic will have access to Walden Pond, Chrystal Springs and Lakeview Estates. Traffic serving the few homes along the Burke segment under repair will be given access by traffic control personnel in the field.
All other traffic should follow a posted detour that includes portions of Franklin and Peters Road, as well as the half-mile stretch of Burke not being repaired.
