Cranberry Highlands Course Getting High-Tech Golf Carts
The golf course also will have a year-end merchandise sale this weekend.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - When differs hit Cranberry Highlands Golf Course next spring, they will have new high-tech carts to transport them. The township is spending $543,000 to purchase 80 new carts that will include full GPS capability and full-service maintenance.
The township initially planned to replace the carts a year ago, but personnel at the township-owned golf course want to evaluate the newer technologies that had become available since the old fleet was purchased five years ago.
In other golf course news, the pro shop will have an end-of-year sale Dec. 14 through Dec. 16 frm 9 .m. to 5 p.m. All items and apparel will be priced at $40 or less.
