Cranberry To Hold Hazardous Waste Collection Event

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The township will host a household hazardous and electronic waste collection event on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.at the Public Works Building on Route 19. It is being held in conjunction with ECS&R Recycling.
The event requires advance registration at www.ecsr.net.

- $0.55/lb. TVs, Monitors, Printers & Towers
- $0.19/lb. All other electronics and freon containing devices
- $0.70/lb. Household Hazardous Waste
- $0.55/lb. Universal Waste (bulbs and btteries)
- $20/ea. Propane Tanks
Some items are not accepted, including explosives; ammunition; radioactive materials; large appliances; pharmaceuticals, syringes and medical waste; fire extinguishers and smoke detectors; devices containing mercury; compressed gas cannisters; and tires.
