Cranberry Library Renovations Topic Of Community Meeting

The library is getting a $750,000 makeover.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Cranberry Public Library upgrades will be discussed at an informal meeting with township manager Jerry Andree. The meeting will occur Jan. 29 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the library.

The $750,000 in library renovations are the Cranberry Township Community Chest’s 2019 Project of the Year. They include lighting improvements, automatic sliding doors and new carpeting.

But the renovation’s crown jewel is a new Makerspace – a multipurpose shop space with different stations as well as material and tools for creating projects in 3D printing, laser cutter, sewing machines, Legos and more.
