Cranberry Raising Money For New Community Apiary

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The Cranberry Township Community Chest will have a one-day fundraiser for the new Cranberry Highlands Community Apiary and the organization picked the perfect day to do it - Aug. 17, which happens to be National Honey Bee Day.

The fundraiser is an attempt to boost awareness of the apiary beekeepers, honey hives and blooming pollinator garden that adorns part of the Cranberry Highlands Golf Course.

and donate to support the bees, and the educational programming that surrounds the initiative. The Cranberry Giant Eagle will match all donations up to $2,000.
