Cranberry Slowdown Campaign Slated To Start
Drivers will be reminded not to ignore the township's 25-mph residential speed limit.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Coinciding with the Seneca Valley School District’s first day of classes on Sept. 5, the township will begin a 10-day program to remind motorists to slow down.
Based on a nationwide campaign by the Kansas Keep Kids Alive- Drive 25 Foundation, the program will spotlight the 25 mph speed limit in residential areas. A similar effort occurred during the first week of the school district’s summer break.
Emphasizing yard signs, speed trailers, traffic counters and increased police patrols, the slowdown campaign will occur in the following township neighborhoods:
