Cranberry's Best Cheap Eats
These places are inexpensive but still get high marks for their food.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - With holiday credit card bills rolling in for most people, January is a month in which many folks try to live frugally. It’s generally not a time to treat yourself to gourmet dining, but you still need to eat.
With that thought in mind, what are the best places to dine inexpensively in Cranberry? For the answer, we turned to Yelp, whose users seldom are shy about sharing their opinions. Is there a place they missed? If so, feel free to mention it in the comments section below.
1. Houlihan’s Restaurant and Bar, Streets of Cranberry
“I usually stop into Houlihan's in Cranberry when they offer their email list coupons,” a Yelpster wrote. “The menu has a large variety of options. They do have a happy hour and also drink specials on certain days during non-happy hour times.”

2. Jason’s Deli, 20117 Route 19
Offered this reviewer: “I ordered the one serving salad bar, which was about $4.50-ish, though the unlimited trips one is $8.29...they serve free ice cream in a dispenser off to one side, which is great.”
3. River City Grille, 100 Cranberry Woods Drive
“This place was was very nice, the food was very good and the waitress very attentive,” this reviewer wrote. “Would go again.”

4. J. Gumbos, 10 St. Francis Way
Note the word ‘free’ in this review: “Amazing and unique food. They have maybe 15 styles of gumbo available at any time and allow free samples before ordering.“
5. Monte Cello’s, 20325 Route 19
“My hubby and I love the pizza and sauce here,” a reviewer wrote. “The pizza rolls and buffalo chicken rolls are awesome. I had a small steak salad which was an entree in itself."
