National Calzone Day 2017: Finding Cranberry's Best Calzones

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Wednesday is National Calzone Day, which seems like an appropriate time to pose this question: Where can you find the best calzones around Cranberry?

Darned if we know why this place topped the list, as we searched the Yelp reviews meticulously and in vain for some calzone mention until we had a headache. Then we took an aspirin.

2. Monte Cello’s, 20325 Route 19, Cranberry
Ah. Here we have a reviewer actually referencing a calzone: “The meatball calzone was great!” That’s a good thing.

3. Domenico’s Ristorante, Piazza Plaza, Cranberry
Calzones apparently aren’t that popular in Cranberry. Not a review of one here that we could unearth.

4. Climo’s Pizza and Chicken, 1075 Freedom Road, Cranberry
Another calzone reference: “The calzones are good.” Success.

5. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, 2045 Mackenzie Way, Cranberry
